Abstract: Fourier analysis is a standard tool to tackle problems in additive combinatorics. I will focus on one particular scheme, Delsarte's method, which has surprising applications in many branches of mathematics such as number theory, combinatorics, geometry, and even operator theory. I will describe the method and outline some ofthe applications.
