We have unfortunately had to suspend admissions for the Department of Mathematics and Its Applications. This is due to the Hungarian government’s refusal to allow CEU to offer its U.S.-accredited degree programs in Budapest. The Department of Mathematics and Its Applications offered programs in a teaching collaboration with the Alfred Renyi Institute of Mathematics of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, and this collaboration depends on our U.S.-accredited degree programs being based in Budapest.
